Mental Health
First Aid Training

Just like physical first aid courses train members of the public to provide basic first aid to someone with a physical health condition, MHFA teaches skills to help someone experiencing a mental health problem.

Trained Mental Health First Aiders have the skills to assist someone who is developing a mental health problem, experiencing the worsening of an existing mental health problem or in a mental health crisis, until professional help is received or the crisis resolves.

We offer in house training for organisations wanting to empower employees with the skills to support their colleagues and create a positive workplace culture where everyone feels supported and included.

We also hold regular public courses for organisations who wish to train just a few team members and for individuals who want to learn skills to support loved ones.

Each course includes:

Handbook for participants to keep with evidence based guidelines on how to respond.

Facilitated by an accredited Instructor. Learn the skills and gain the confidence to apply them in this supportive and interactive learning environment.
