Support Your Peers with Confidence: Blended Online MHFA Tertiary Course

The Blended Online MHFA Tertiary Course teaches students how to assist someone developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis.

In this informative and practical course you will learn about the signs and symptoms of common mental health problems, how to provide initial help, where and how to get professional help and how to provide mental health first aid in a crisis situation using a practical, evidence-based action plan.

The course is 100% online format consisting of two components.  

Course Component 1 – Self-paced interactive eLearning (5 hours)

Course Component 2 – Instructor-led webinars delivered live via Zoom (2 x 2.5 hours) on Tuesday 4th and Wednesday 5th February 2025 from 9:30am to 12pm AEST.

What's included?

Each participant will receive their own MHFA manual to keep. Upon completion of the training participants can complete a short assessment and if they pass they will become an accredited Mental Health First Aider for 3 years. 

Who can attend?

This training is for any tertiary student. No previous training or experience is required. Participants must be based in Australia.

What's the cost?

Total cost is $250 pp which includes eLearning modules, webinars and MHFA manual posted to your Australian address. This is a discounted rate for students.
